to Computer
Applications

Eligibility: All incoming
students
This
one-semester course provides a thorough introduction to computer
applications. The course begins with an introduction to computer
hardware and software, including related concepts and terminology. The
balance of the course will allow students to refine proficiencies in
touch-typing and three primary types of business software applications:
word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation graphics. In addition,
students will gain exposure to Internet communications and research.
