All cover letters should be in block style (see Page WD 175 for a review of what this means).  NO INDENTATION.

 

Do not exceed one page per cover letter.  Read the earlier pages in Project 3 for instructions on how to create the letterhead.

 

1.  Complete the cover letter we started in class (Project 3, Benjamin Kane Okamoto).  Save to your student folder AND PRINT.

    • Print two copies of your resume and cover at the start of class.

    • Each student will have two other students mark corrections--including spelling--directly on the printouts.

    • The proofreader must write her name in the top-left corner of the resume.

    • Spelling errors missed by the proofreaders will cause all three students to lose points.

  • Do NOT include ClipArt in your header.

You are NOT creating another resume for this assignment.

 

You will submit a printed copy of each letter next class and save both letters to your hand-in folder.  Both letters should contain the sender's information as listed in the book. 

 

Remember:  You are the typist, not the sender.

Complete and print CORRECTED one-page resume and cover letter.  No resumes or cover letters are to exceed 1 page each.  Staple the two proofread copies with the final version.
