Consider the 2nd bullet point under “Research & Debate” on p. 47.    Some in the U.S. believe that we should have tougher immigration laws and restrict the numbers of foreign people entering our country.  Others believe the U.S. should continue to allow foreign people in to meet growing needs for workers.  Write an answer to the following question underlined:  Do you believe the U.S. Government should enact stricter immigration laws,  more lenient immigration laws, or keep the same laws?  Be sure to develop your answer fully based on your views & the reading above.
