The following activities can be used to improve your particular dominant learning modality or to strengthen a weaker one.

 
If You Are a Visual Learner, Try These:  I

Form pictures in your mind

Take Notes and Make Drawings

Use Study cards, Charts, Graphs, Semantic Maps

Use Mnemonics (Acronyms, visual chains, mind maps, acrostics)

  

 

 

If You Are An Auditory Learner, Try These:

Use tapes

Repeat info aloud.     "Teach" the material to others.    Have discussions.

Utilize "Active" Listening Skills

Use Mnemonics

 
And If You Are a Kinesthetic Learner, Try these:

Role Play

Take Notes (See "Note taking" page)

Associate feelings with concept/ information

write lists repeatedly
